Jamie Vardy is close to handing Leicester City a huge boost by signing a new three-and-a-half-year contract.
The Premier League top scorer has been in talks with the club for a number of weeks and significant progress was made on transfer deadline day.
Vardy was a target for Chelsea and both Manchester clubs during the January window but will instead sign improved terms, taking his £40,000-per-week deal to around £60,000.
